When will my account become active? expand_more
Once you have completed the first stage of the online registration process, you will be requested to enter a code on the Cembra eService website. This code will be sent directly to your mobile phone via text message.
Once the text message code has been validated, an activation code will be sent to the email address that you specified. You will need to enter the activation code in the email on the Cembra eService website. Once you have entered the activation code correctly, the registration process will be complete and your account and eService access will be active.
What is an activation code? expand_more
The activation code is required to activate your account. Please keep this code and your password secret. You will receive the activation code via email. Please note that the activation code is only valid for 30 minutes and you will no longer be able to use it to activate your account once this time limit has expired. You can request a new activation code a maximum of twice if you have not received one by email. If you enter the activation code incorrectly three times, your account and eService access will be blocked.
Where can I find my account number? expand_more
Your account number is located in the top-left-hand corner of the first page of your monthly credit card bill. The account number is made up of 10 digits and starts with the number "6".
When will I start receiving my credit card bill electronically instead of via post? expand_more
Once you have completed the online registration process and your account has been successfully activated. You will be notified by email when your new credit card bill is available to view online. Please note that you will continue to receive your credit card bill by post if you disable the electronic credit card bill option during registration.
Why have I not received an email containing an activation code? expand_more
Please check your spam filter or the spam mailbox of your email account. If you cannot find the email containing the activation code there, you can have the email sent to you again. Log into eService, and as soon as you receive the SMS code you will again be sent an activation code.
What do you have to take note of when choosing a username and password? expand_more
You can use your email address or a pseudonym as your username (we recommend using your email address). The username must consist of at least six characters and must not start with a number. Please note that usernames are case-sensitive.
The following characters are permitted for use in the username:
Letters a–z and A–Z, as well as numbers 0–9; special characters and accented letters are not permitted (e.g. # $ ()? or ä ö ü ç è é à).
Please create a password that meets the following criteria:
It must be at least eight characters and no more than 32 characters; it must contain at least one lower-case letter; it must contain at least one number; it must contain at least one special character, e.g. @ $ # ()?); accented letters are not permitted (e.g. ä ö ü ç è é à); the same character must not be repeated more than four times in succession.
I do not own a mobile phone. Can I still use eService? expand_more
For security reasons, a mobile phone is required to register for eService, therefore persons without mobile phones unfortunately cannot use eService.
